The iEHR App for iPad and iPad mini is a mobile electronic medical records solution that places the capability of clinical data acquisition and organization in the palm of your hand, and interoperates with MacPractice desktop practice management and clinical software including EHR and EMR.
Demographic and clinical information entered by your patients into MacPractice Clipboard app for iPad and clinical data from previous iEHR visits is pulled into iEHR forms so you can create narratives with a tap of your finger. iEHR offers a comprehensive view of a patient's clinical history, previous incidents, and present problem.
MacPractice EHR is a single-vendor, all-in-one EHR/iEHR solution from MacPractice. EHR will be submitted for 2014 CEHRT Stage 1 and Stage 2 certification this year. You can quickly get started by selecting from an extensive library of easily customizable general and specialty-specific templates. Or develop templates that suit you and your practice with the assistance of the MacPractice Template Development Team.
MacPractice EHR provides you with a desktop version of MacPractice iEHR’s interface for iPad. There will be no learning curve between EHR and iEHR, but EHR takes advantage of your Mac desktop to offer greater efficiency and flexibility (with less mobility obviously).
If you use MacPractice iEHR for iPad, NO template development is necessary for EHR!
Interact with the clinical data provided by your patient and medical assistant using MacPractice Clipboard, including Health History and physical exam. Make your visit notes with graphic annotations if you wish.
Where do I start? Where would you like to start? Your patient started your exam by entering information into Clipboard on an iPad (If you don’t wish to use Clipboard, you don’t have to). Your assistant has reviewed the information and present problem with your patient. Now it is your turn…and your choice. EHR/iEHR is versatile.
It's up to you, and every doctor and assistant in your practice, how you prefer to use MacPractice iEHR/EHR. That’s versatility!
Can I use iEHR/EHR when I see patients outside the office? Yes. iEHR uses your iPad to connect in your office over Wifi. iEHR can also connect to MacPractice from outside your office, as can Clipboard. Of course you can also connect remotely to MacPractice in a variety of ways using a Mac or iPad.
As a doctor working in MacPractice EHR on the desktop, not only can you view patient information recorded elsewhere in MacPractice from within MacPractice EHR, but also all of MacPractice’s other Abilities are readily available to you. For example, you can see your complete office’s schedule, view orders and results, create reminders for staff, and use MacPractice Note, an integrated full-featured word processor. And you easily can take a moment between patients to take the financial temperature of your practice by looking at a MacPractice Report.
Implementation of any EHR frequently requires some customization. To drive down the after-purchase cost, MacPractice features a large online template library of customizable templates and template sections, saving your time and your money. If we create a custom template for a MacPractice user, we discount our standard development fee by 50% if the template is to be shared with the MacPractice iEHR/EHR user community of nearly 2,000 practices and 15,000 providers.
