MacPractice Ships Beta Medical, Dental and Chiropractic Practice Management Software

Lincoln, NE, December 27 , 2004: This week MacPractice, Inc. is shipping the beta version of all new Mac OS X practice management software for doctors' offices, MacPractice MD for physicians, MacPractice DDS for dentists and MacPractice DC for Chiropractors, on schedule as promised, to pre-selected, qualified beta customers.

Beta clients will use a new MacPractice software installer, and the first release of a data migrator to transfer their MediMac, DentalMac or ChiroMac patient records into MacPractice software. In the future, this migrator will help users of any other practice management application to get patient data they have collected over years easily into MacPractice MD, DDS or DC.

MacPractice expects MacPractice MD, DDS and DC to be out of beta and shipping in the 1st quarter of 2005. Scheduling and EClaims will be added in the 2nd quarter. A free offer of MacPractice shipping software, including scheduling and EClaims, for customers who subscribe to telephone support from MacPractice for MediMac, DentalMac or ChiroMac has been extended to January 31, 2005. The new MacPractice programs are designed and developed by a team of 11 software engineers, at the direction of Patrick Clyne, the original designer/developer of MediMac, ChiroMac and DentalMac.

Mark Hollis, President and Director of Customer Relations says, "MediMac, ChiroMac and DentalMac users receive 90% of support calls answered live daily by MacPractice's expert and highly experienced personnel."
