MacPractice MD 3.6 And MacPractice DC 3.6 Announced

Lincoln, NE, March 4, 2009 - MacPractice, Inc., the leading Macintosh practice management and clinical application developer, announces MacPractice MD 3.6 and MacPractice DC 3.6. MacPractice software is currently used by health care providers in 14 countries.

A new e-prescribe function in MacPractice MD 3.6, which meets CMS requirements for higher physician reimbursement, will enter a certification process later this month. An interface with AutoRemind for automated appointment reminders via email, voice or text messaging is being field tested with MacPractice 3.6 for release later this month as well.

In version 3.6, MacPractice Imaging sports a new interface and many new enhancements. MacPractice EMR and every other MacPractice Ability has been enhanced in some way in this release.

A new MacPractice Server application introduced in MacPractice 3.5 has been enhanced in MacPractice 3.6 in preparation for the release of Snow Leopard.
