iPhone Interface for MacPractice MD, DDS, DC, and 20/20 Released'

Lincoln, NE, December 10, 2007 - MacPractice, Inc., the leading developer of practice management software and clinical applications designed especially for Mac OS X, announced the release of the MacPractice iPhone Interface.

The President of MacPractice, Mark Hollis, describes the new iPhone Interface this way: "Today we are leveraging an innovative, unique Apple technology again to put new productivity enhancing tools literally in the hands of physicians, dentists, chiropractors and optometrists on iPhones, and on Mac and PC computers as well."

The iPhone Interface, which can also be used in Safari on any Mac or PC desktop, portable or tablet computer, requires MacPractice MD, DC, DDS, or 20/20, version 3.1. MacPractice recommends that users set up a VPN.

With the Interface, a doctor can connect to his office to access his schedule and any patient record. The doctor can check prescription history before returning a call or sending an email to the patient by tapping his iPhone.

Additional features planned for this Interface include accessing management reports, reviewing planned treatment, posting charges, and requesting contact from the staff to make an appointment.

Introductory pricing for the MacPractice iPhone Interface is $800 for current MacPractice users with a required annual fee of $200 for support and updates. Those who purchase the Interface with MacPractice MD, DC, DDS, or 20/20 receive a $300 discount on the Interface Those who purchased MacPractice after November 1, 2007 are also eligible for the $300 discount.
