MacPractice, Inc. Adds Canadian Dental EClaims To MacPractice DDS

Lincoln, NE November 8, 2006 - MacPractice, Inc., developer of MacPractice DDS for dentists, MacPractice MD for physicians, MacPractice DC for chiropractors, and MacPractice 20/20 for optometrists, the first full-fledged healthcare practice management software applications designed especially for Mac OS X for PowerPC and Intel, has added Canadian EClaims capability to MacPractice DDS, a first for Mac OS X. MacPractice is in the process of receiving certification from the Canadian Dental Association (CDAnet).

"We are excited to be the first Mac OS X developer to offer Canadian EClaims for our current clients and for the many Canadian dentists who have expressed a desire to use MacPractice DDS in their office. Canada is an important market for MacPractice," said Mark Hollis, President.

CDAnet instantly confirms eligibility, informs the office of an error in the claim and if a predetermination is required. Dentists and their patients know exactly how much insurance will pay for a procedure at the time of service. Patients may receive insurance reimbursement in less than a week.

MacPractice DDS 2.2 interfaces with numerous popular digital radiography and dental imaging and charting solutions. 1350 doctors have chosen MacPractice to provide their practice management software and technical support. MacPractice also supports many clients' use of DentalMac, MediMac, and ChiroMac.

MacPractice offers special limited time pricing. Doctors may request to view QuickTime demonstration movies of MacPractice DDS, MD, DC, or 20/20 when registering at www.MacPractice.com/mp/demo/.
