- Paperless Technologies is pleased to announce a collaboration with MacPractice, Inc.to integrate the most cutting edge paperless solutions of PT Medical and PT Dental with the most powerful Mac OS X based practice management programs in the industry. Medical, dental, chiropractic and optometry offices will now be able to completely eliminate their use of paper while utilizing the strengths of the Macintosh. The combination of these two technologies is sure to create a technological powerhouse like the medical and dental industries have never seen before.
PT enables patients to complete all forms and questionnaires online at home or in the office. PT forms may be completed on a PT Wintel tablet using handwriting recognition. Once the forms are completed and signed (electronically), PT places patient information into MacPractice. Doctors can complete all clinical forms electronically just as they do with pen and paper. All necessary patient information may be sent to or received from referral offices or labs electronically, eliminating faxes and couriers.
PT solutions currently require the use of Windows. We are working with MacPractice to develop next generation Mac OS X solutions.
