Dear MacHealth client,
My passion was serving our MacHealth customers to the best of my
ability. Honesty, integrity, a strong work ethic, and a desire to
provide products and a service to medical professionals - that is what
motivated me on a daily basis as the Director of Operations for WebMD's
MacHealth Division.
However, early this year, it became clear that WebMD's vision for our
customer's future differed from that of mine and my team. It became
clear that the products we were working on, which were close to being
delivered, would die. It became clear that the company felt our
internal resources could be cut dramatically because we were no longer
allowed to develop the products. It became clear we were not to sell
any new MacHealth systems. In short, it appeared the company wanted to
replace our Macintosh solution in favor of their PC-based solution.
Although I left WebMD due to familial obligations, I chose to leave
earlier than scheduled as it was painfully obvious that WebMD had no
intention developing the MacHealth Series software any further.
I worked with HealthCare Communications and WebMD for 10 years. I
served in various positions, including several managerial positions
where I worked directly with upper management in both companies, and
leaders in the sales, development and support departments. With that
in
mind, I recommend, without hesitation or reservation, all MacHealth
users turn to MacPractice for support and products. I've worked closely
with Mark Hollis and Patrick Clyne over the years, and I trust and
support them both. They share the my core business values and will
deliver on any promises made. There are other companies vying for the
MacHealth customer's business, but if those customers want to be
treated honestly and fairly, they can make only one choice and that's
MacPractice.
The professionals at MacPractice are on a mission. The mission is to
deliver the best, most comprehensive, Mac OS X practice management product
on the market. They will succeed. My hope for the customers I served for so
long is that they make the correct choice when choosing a
company in which they place their trust. MacPractice is the only
company I would personally choose.
